We know we can’t vote our way to freedom but if we are strategic with our vote, this powerful tool, especially locally, we can affect the way power is used or abused!
The power isn’t in the politician, it’s not in the politics… it’s in the people. More people… more power. We must use our vote to secure policies and politicians that respect the power of the people. Politics is what is between us and the way we want our power to be used. We must use this vote to show our desire to use our power and our resources for reparations, healing, care and protection from harm within and outside our communities. We have to use our vote to limit the abuse of the government and white supremacist delusion.
WE have to make them recognize our power.
